ANGEL FIRE DEPARTMENT

We bring a smile and a few moments of happiness to those who need it most…sick or terminally ill children and their families, kids who lost a parent to an illness or in time of war, Fire Departments, burn victims, The Make a Wish Program and so many others get to ride in the Big Red Fire Truck.  The purpose of this new non-profit is to bring smiles to children and families, to have fun, and provide just a few moments or a day forgetting their pain. This is what ANGEL FIRE DEPARTMENT’S Fire Trucks do! We go to THEM and bring happiness into their lives. 

Why ANGEL FIRE DEPT Fire Trucks? This Non-Profit Organization brings smiles to kids and adults as they associate our Fire Trucks with love and kindness.  The fire trucks are taken to hospitals, private homes, military bases (Nellis), parades, car clubs, and driven down the strip to capture the attention of everyone, all because of YOU, the ANGEL behind this venture. 

The organization takes pride in assisting ill children and their families who suffer from diseases, illnesses and injuries such as: cancer, aids,  heart problems, asthma, MS, Parkinson’s, muscular dystrophy, COPD, fibromyalgia,
epilepsy, autism, burn victims, amputees,  and so many more. 
The truth is, some kids won’t make it to Christmas, or even next week, and Angel Fire Department will play a part in making these children’s dreams of being on a firetruck come true. 

We also aid hospitals, Fire Departments, military kids and many other organizations.  “Angel 1 or 2” will come out, let the kids and families climb on and play with the hoses, siren and fire bell. We let them wear a real fire coat and fire helmet. They get to squirt water and get a lesson on Fire Safety and Fire Service History. 
The most important part is they get to forget about all the pain, all the needles and operations, and just have fun doing something they would never get to do!  We let the children and their families have time playing together and smiling. It's so great to watch the families have those special moments with their child, making their child happy even for a little while. 

We use these trucks to go to parades, car shows, ride up and down the strip, take Santa  to the Hospitals to visit kids, and for Fire Fighters who are ill, letting them ride one last time in the truck… We also use the truck for kids at Nellis AFB a few times a year.  These kids have moms and dads who are away on deployment. They are scared and very worried their parents may never come home again…. We get to let them have a fun day or a few days, playing with the fire trucks, riding in the back and just for a while putting on a smile. We help them forget about their worries for a little while.  We also make sure the Fire Trucks are available for Holidays during the year and especially at Christmas. Our goal is to have our trucks will running full time for weeks taking  Santa to hospitals, neighborhoods, and parades! We drive Santa to all the squadrons holiday parties on Nellis AFB, the Thunderbirds love this idea…
